Even when all of the stories in one session have ended happily ever after, and you’re waiting for the ‘once upon a times’ of the next major set of storytelling performances to commence, we want to ensure that the microphones are still alive with artistic talent. With that in mind, we’ll fill the major breaks in the action, with musical talent  to rival the talent of the ‘Tellers. Some have grown up performing in the Festival, and truly represent some the finest musical talent in the local northern Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania region.

Saturday, June 22 - 6:00 to 6:45PM
Kira Alejandro-
Tent

If you want to hear music that’s truly fresh, innovative, and personal, don’t miss Kira in the main tent at 6:00 pm. A singer-songwriter and pianist, Kira is a rising high school senior at Interlochen Center for the Arts in northern Michigan. She is a vocal major who has crafted a sophisticated sound and a repertoire of savvy, original material. Her roots are certainly in the contemporary ‘Alternative’ genre, and some might compare her sound to Inara George, but any comparison that could be made is more about telling you what an artist isn’t. Come hear who Kira is!

The Lower Brandywine Storytelling Festival is the anchor event in Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church's Community Outreach Calendar of Events. It's fun. It's Family-friendly. And it's FREE!
