This is Bruce Fite’s second time performing for the Brandywine Storytelling Festival. And with good reason! Can’t you just feel the local elementary-school crowd shaking, rattling, and rolling with anticipation? (Or perhaps that’s just the spin cycle.) We can’t wait either!
Bruce has been a favorite of young fans everywhere since the launch of his debut children’s album ‘Don’t Put Your Cat In The Washing Machine,’ which won him the Best New Artist For Younger Children Music Web Award back in 2006. Bruce believes that his music and his storytelling can teach, while everyone has a ton of fun in the process. And he field tests all of his work on the K-5 students he teaches every year in Northern Maryland. It’s all genuinely “kid-tested and approved."
Bruceʼs songs often receive weekly airplay on the Kidsʼ Cookie Break which airs Saturday mornings on WJTL and can be heard anywhere in the world via the web.
‘Versatile’ and ‘Fun’ just may be the two words that best describe Bruce’s music. Youʼll hear many styles, including country-bluegrass, pop, rock, folk, and other genres.
Bruce began his professional music career after graduating college. He has shared the stage with National recording artists such as The Katinas, Justin McRoberts, Big Daddy Weave and Bigsby.
Bruce has also performed at many local and regional church and school events, and he teams up regularly with FM 90.3 WJTL for various concert events. He has also been featured in the lineup of the Dutch Wonderland Christian Family Fest in Lancaster, PA, as well as Hershey Parkʼs Christian Family Day.
One thing is for sure: Bruce Fiteʼs music is good, clean fun for the whole family!
